GEORGIA OPIOID SETTLEMENT ADVISORY COMMISSION
The membership of the Georgia Opioid Settlement Advisory Commission (“GOSAC”) is prescribed by a May 2023 Executive Order by Governor Brian Kemp and subsequent Executive Orders. GOSAC consults with and provides recommendations to the Trustee regarding the allocation of settlement funds.
Four members and one non-voting chairperson are appointed by Governor Kemp and are listed below. Four other members will be appointed by local governments in the near future.

Evan Meyers is Deputy Executive Counsel in the Office of Governor Brian P. Kemp.
Cassandra Price
Cassandra Price is Director of the Office of Addictive Diseases at the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities.
Dr. R. Chris Rustin
Dr. Chris Rustin is Deputy Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Public Health.
Sheriff Gary Sisk
Sheriff Gary Sisk is the Sheriff of Catoosa County, Georgia.
Grant Thomas
Grant Thomas is Deputy Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Community Health.
Betty Cason
Betty Cason is the City of Carrollton Mayor.
Claiborne “Clay” Davis
Claiborne “Clay” Davis is the Spalding County Board of Commissioners Chairman.
Edward Reynolds
Edward Reynolds is the City of Bainbridge Mayor and a Georgia Registered Pharmacist.
David A. Kidd
David A. Kidd is the Board Chair for Advantage Behavioral Health Systems and is the current Vice President of the Georgia Association of Community Service Boards (GACSB).
